Leo Boivin
Inducted into the Brockville and District Hall of Fame (Professional Category) June 11th, 1993.
Leo’s hockey career began on the ice of the St. Lawrence River in his home town of Prescott.
From stick boy to Junior ‘B’ player; from the Inkerman Rockets to the Boston Bruins, Leo’s bruising style of defensive hockey became his trademark. His NHL career spanned 19 years from 1951 to 1970 with stops in Toronto, Boston, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Minnesota.
After an All-Star Career, Leo was inducted into the NHL Hall of Fame in September of 1986.
